Many of us say that we believe in God, however, the nuances that we exhibit may show other wise. We say we have faith, but though slight; colorful and mean-spirited words are still heard coming from our lips, so while we may know the scriptures, we are only giving lip service, as no reflection of God is seen in us.
It’s the ones who show subtle nuances, by a hint of warmth in their smile, the ones with outstretched arms, the ones with kind words…..these are the ones that have embraced Gods Grace, they not only know the scriptures, but they are trying to live the scriptures, then their character will surely reflect God’s character, and when the slightest darken shade leads them off the path of light; right away, they know they need to make a Course Correction.

Here are some of the things that will happen at the end of time:
1: People will be deceived.
2: Earthquakes, famines wars.
3: People will be persecuted and put to death.
4: Many Christians will be hated.
5: Many Christians will turn away from the faith and they will hate and betray each other.
6: There will be increase wickedness.
7: The love of many will grow cold…..in other word love will be replaced by hate.
8: Some will remain faithful to God till the end.
Just wondering how much further we have to go before we are at the very end of time….would love to hear the thoughts of others.
Matthew 24:4-12 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.
9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
God is not asleep, not even a quick nap will He take. We may not think about it, but He is observing every evil action that is happening to His little children at this very moment. It is very difficult at times to walk as Christ wants us to. He tells us:
Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary , repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.1 Peter 3:9
1 Peter 3:9 is really showing us just how difficult it is to show love, as God wants us to.
In the news today, they told the story of students hurling hateful and evil words at other students. I can only imagine how difficult it would have been to thinking good and loving thoughts at that time.
If we are believers and we are experiencing persecution, just remember that:
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayers. 1 Peter 3:12
Praying is the key, it may seem ineffective, but pray without ceasing, and see results.
God is still in Control
Sometimes things just don’t make any sense to us, but we just have to remember that God is always in control, His ways are not our ways, nor His thoughts our thoughts. God blesses the ones that love Him and He blesses the ones that have no thought of Him. He raises up and He tears down. God is God, and only He knows why things turn out the way they do.
All we need to do is to keep trusting in God, not only when the way looks bright and sunny, but we must also trust in Him to get us through the darkness.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3: 5-6
Rejecting The Pure For A Flawed Leader
So often we become restless and impatient when things don’t seem to be going our way. We tend to blame everyone else but ourselves. We also tend to look at others, and if their lives seem to be going better than ours, we will want to have the things that they have. This is how it also was for the children of Israel, and this is how it is for us today.
Israel had the best of everything, especially in a Leader to govern them, as God was the King and Leader, however, they wanted a King like all the other nations around them. As a result, the rejected their King (God) for a very flawed candidate to be their King. They chose persecution instead of peace.
But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord. 7 And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king… 1 Samuel 8: 6 – 7
So the Lord gave the people the desires of their heart by anointing Saul as King over them. He was not invisible, but was very pleasing to their eyes. He was tall and handsome, qualities that the people were attracted to, but he came with much baggage.
Rejected By God
Some of you have been inquiring of me in regards to my “Daily Potion.” I am so sorry, but I have been so busy, but as I think about it, I should never let my business come before God’s Business.
I’ve been doing a read through of the bible and today I read 1 Samuel 15 where Saul has been anointed King over the children of Israel. Samuel went to Saul and told him what God wanted him (Saul) to do. Saul went forward and did most of what God had asked of him. He did what he thought was best in his eyes by sparing the king’s life and by sparing the cattle that was healthy. God was not pleased with only the “Partial Obedience” by Saul, and as a result, He rejected him as the King of Israel.
God has also requested that we follow His ten commandments, not one commandment, not two commandments, but all ten. When we neglect to do as God says we are also in danger of Him also rejecting us.
Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices
as much as in obeying the Lord?
To obey is better than sacrifice, 1 Samuel 15:22
What Will Happen To Satan
Revelation 20 1-3 & 7-10 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time. ….. When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9 They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
While we are lifted up with Christ to spend a thousand years in heaven, Satan will be captured and bound for a thousand years. When we return to this earth we will be kept safe within God’s holy city. Satan will be freed at that time, and he will gather all the evil people, which is like the sand on the sea-shore. He will then try to kill God’s people, but fire will rain down from heaven and demolish them, and that will be the end of evil.
Oh Happy Day!!
Paradise At Last
Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelations 21: 1-4
In my last two blog posts we spoke of Jesus coming back for a second time. We saw where He sat on the cloud and sent His angels out to gather His children. Graves were opened and the ones who died believing in Christ were the first to be lifted up to meet Jesus in the sky. Then the believers who were alive when Jesus came back a second time were also lifted up to be with Him.
At the time we were lifted up to meet Jesus, our bodies were changed. We will no longer live with sadness, pain or tears. We are now all free of negative emotions. Happiness only is the new order of the day. We will spend a thousand years with Jesus in heaven before coming back to live on a new and purified earth. Satan will be gotten rid of, and we will live with God forever and ever.
There is hope….
The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. Matthew 13:39
The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath. Revelation 14:19
This is the season when the ripened crops are gathered. The Farmer sends out his workers to bring all the good ripe crops to him. The bad ones are thrown away, or back into the ground. Both the good and bad crops grew together, but now is the separation time.
In Matthew 13 when Jesus was explaining the parable about the weed, He also told us what the harvest and harvesters referred to in His parables. The Harvest is the end of the age, and the Harvesters are the angels.
At the end of time which we all suspect is very near, Jesus will come into our earths atmosphere surrounded by a host of angels. The angels (harvesters) will then come and collect all of those who are faithful and believe in Jesus. We will be lifted up to meet Jesus in the air. The (bad harvest) or unbelievers will remain where they are…..on the perishing earth.

I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one like a son of man with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. Revelation 14:14
Surely it must be almost harvest time. It seems as though the whole earth is being thrown into a state of confusion, with good being confused for bad, and right confused for wrong. Humans are becoming more and more hopeless, the earth is creaking and groaning.
People are making plans as the seek ways to escape….to escape this corrupted earth. Jesus is coming back again, when He returns the next time, His feet will not touch this polluted earth until it has been purified. He will descend into this atmosphere, but will sit on the cloud, while the angels go forward and do the harvesting. Jesus will return with all His power and His glory.
