Tailor

Tailor (verb) conform, convert, mold, reconcile

If we allow Him, God will transform our bodies, so that they may be “conformed” (tailored) to His, and one day we will eternally live with Him.

Philippians 3 : 21 ………who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

Control

One thing God will never do is to control human beings.

[ The Believer’s Freedom ] “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive.

Minimal Living Faith

Minimal

I’ve been thinking a lot about faith the size of a mustard seed lately, because God says if we have that much faith we can accomplish great things, so my prayer for myself is, that I can have this minimal faith.

I have chronic auto immune health issues, and for long periods I will feel generally unwell. Sometimes these issues tend to keep me away from church, but I have made up my mind to fight this battle. My last battle arose a few days ago. As I was sitting there beside my husband listening to the Praise Music which I usually enjoy, one side of my face and head was just throbbing, and the music was pounding in my head, my first thought was to get up and go outside.

This was the time of the intercessory Prayer. People will usually approach the altar, I have never gone in the past, but at that moment I was feeling so uncomfortable that I found my self standing up and approaching the alter.

I then knelt with the others as the prayer began. I heard the person that was praying, but was not focus on their words, because I had (in my mind) started praying and thanking God, because I could not believe what was happening. All the uncomfortable feelings I was experiencing was slowly subsiding, as I was kneeling there.

I went back to my seat feeling freer and lighter, and I was now able to enjoy the Praise Singing. I had just experience relief, straight from the Hand of God, so with my minimal faith the size of a mustard seed, I will continue to ask God to remove every mountain from my life, if it is His will to do so.

………if you have [living] faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and [if it is God’s will] it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20 (Amplified Bible)

The Great Controversy

Controversy

Angkor Wat

Each one of us were created perfectly positive and good human beings, but after A Massive Lie  was told in the Garden of Eden, it created a great conflict within our minds.

The Great Controversy we now experience is one of Good and Evil. Will we do the good that God wants us to do, or will we continue to listen and give in to the temptations of evil from the devil.

Most of the emotional and mental torture we now suffer is because many of us have removed ourselves from under the banner of God and His goodness. By giving in to the sweet temptations from the evil enemy (Satan) we are making the choice to live a tortured experience.  Read more in Good Or Evil

Noisy But Glorious

Most of us seem to think that it will be a very quiet occurrence when Jesus returns to this earth, and to get our point across, we would refer back to the scripture which says: The day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night……1 Thessalonians 5. However this scripture only means that, we know not when the Lord will come, just as we know not when a thief may break in. Instead of Jesus returning quietly, it will be a very loud and gloriously noisy occasion.

There will be trumpets…when they sound the dead in Christ will rise from their graves. We who are still alive, our bodies will change into perfection, never to decay again. This is based on 1 Corinthians 15:52

Can you imagine trumpets sounding so loud that they will wake up the dead! That will be some sound.

For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; You people shall be my people, And your God, my God. Ruth 1:16

So often we hear about bad mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationships, but the story of Ruth is so beautiful, in that Ruth was very kind to Naomi, and Naomi certainly made a very marked impression on Ruth. We know that Naomi was a Godly woman and perhaps it was just the way she lived her life from day-to-day, that drew Ruth to her.

As Christians it would be wonderful to live our lives in such a way, that we would constantly be drawing people to us, regardless if they were family or not.

Dedicated To The One I Love

butterflya

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. Mark 12:30

So it seems as though God has placed on my heart this message, and that is to relay that when all minds are focused on Him (God) there will be no place to harbour negative feelings. There will be no place for feeling the likes of depression. There will be peace, and there will be an abiding hope, that one day we will live in eternity with Him.

When we give God our full attention, it is only then that we will be led in the right direction.

Health and Healing

Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

Proverbs 16:24

When we speak kind words to one another, they bring healing to our minds and healing to our bodies. Loving words will make us feel less stressful and less anxious. Gracious words promote healthy emotions, they strengthen and give us a great sense of well being.

The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Proverbs 12:18

A person who is hasty to speak, foolhardy, ill-advised, inconsiderate; can easily cause damage to another, by the words they use. When we are “Pierced” by someone’s words we can be deeply wounded emotionally and physically.

For good emotional and physical health, kind words will go a long way.

How to Pray

Many will say that they can speak to God anywhere and at any time and that is true, but I believe that if we can find the time to go into a yoga pose to empty our minds, then we can find the time to get on our knees and bow our heads and connect to God in prayer. I do this first thing in the morning and the last thing at night before going to bed. My in-between time is still to keep talking to God where ever I maybe.

Instead of trying to think of nothing, I try to picture myself kneeling before God in His throne room as depicted in Revelations 4. Most times we will say kind words but think unkind thoughts, but we cannot hide from God. We need to clean up our thinking before we can go before God.

Revelations 4:9 Whenever living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to Him who sit on the throne and who lives forever and ever, the twenty- four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

11 ” You are worthy our Lord and God,

to receive honor and glory and power,

for you created all things,

and by your will they were created

and have their being.
