Physical Exercise:
My favorite form of physical exercise is walking. I love walking outdoors in nature best. And since I like capturing wildlife, sometimes I may be climbing up hills, jumping over streams, or moving quickly to get the shot.

When I walk out in nature, it is effortlessly. It’s fun, and I don’t think of it as physical exercise. Just lately, I’ve also started doing power walking indoors. And find it to be also energizing.
While walking and getting my physical exercise, my mind usually turns to my spiritual exercise.
Here are a few of the ways I’m asked to walk:
Physical Exercise Leads Me To Spiritual Exercise:
Walk in Love
Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. Ephesians 5:1
Walk in Light
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. Ephesians 5:8
Walk in Wisdom
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, Ephesians 5:15

So, as you can see, my physical exercise may lead me to thoughts of my Spiritual exercises. And sometimes, my Spiritual Exercises may show me the need for physical exercise.
Cycling
That’s right, I remember seeing your posts with you on a bicycle, and I think you said your hubby also bike. I wish I could…..lol, I have no sense of balance, so I wouldn’t get very far.
We both cycle
Before I started to really care about my hair, I used to be passionate about long distance swimming….just relaxed strokes, breaststroke, or freestyle… pool or open waters. Goggles, a swim cap and I would go…Then I discovered different ‘coiffures’ and hair colours…My highlighted, blond streak fashion didn’t go along with hours in water. Sooo, hiking, running is the best for me.
Hiking and running is quite good exercise. A hike I don’t mind, but I was never into running.
A wonderful post full of great inspirational ideas while walking!
Thank you. It’s my main way of exercising, and being out in nature can at times make it interesting.
This is great. We cannot learn to “run the race” until we become skilled walkers. Love the beautiful trail. Thanks for this post. ~ Jacquie
Thanks for reading.
When we walk in God’s grace, we exercise our faith, and build our trust!
That is so true Warren! Thanks for commenting.
My pleasure!
Walking is great for having time with God in his creation
It really is.
My cycle broke down last week 😭😭
Sorry to hear that.
