Daily writing prompt
How often do you walk or run?

My Physical Walk And Run:

To walk and run are beneficial to our health. While I can say I do walk, I never run. And most of my walking is nature walking, only running to photograph a bird.

But lately, I’ve been doing power walks with Leslie Sansone.

My sister shared this video with me. It’s a video that anyone can do in the comfort of their own home. All you have to do is walk, walk, walk. Yes, you’re walking and getting your heart rate up.

Leslie Sansone has many videos, so if the one below is too advanced for you, there are also many other videos by Leslie Sansone.

To Spiritually Walk And Run:

As it is important to take care of our physical health, you and I also need to take care of our Spiritual health.

When we become Christians, we are called to walk the Christian walk, which is to be followers of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In the Spiritual sense, we are asked to run the race of life and living with endurance. And we are to not stop running until we reach the finish line.

You can only have lasting endurance by making many stops at the Spiritual feeding stations. And this is where you will get Spiritual food through the Word of God. And also by praying to God Himself.

God will keep you in the race. And He will strengthen you when you are in the valley. Also with hope, He will cheer you on to climb the mountain.

Lastly, if you are in the depths of depression you don’t have to stay there. With God in your and my life, He will give you and me the strength to finish the race.

The Race of Faith

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, Hebrews 12:1

Striving for a Crown

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. 1 Corinthians 9:24

  1. Physical exercise has some value, but spiritual exercise is valuable in every way, because it promises life both for the present and for the future. 1 Timothy 4:8. Thanks for the inspiration.
