What Blue Can Stand For:
Blue is a color that can be very positive. But clearly, it can also have a negative meaning in many cases.
If someone tells you they are blue or feeling blue, especially at this time of year, they undoubtedly could be low in spirits or having feelings of melancholy.

My Blue Beginning To The New Year:
I ended 2022 on a blue note and started 2023 on a very blue note. Moreover, I am delighted to say, that in this case, blue is being used in a very positive sense.

When Migratory Birds Don’t Migrate:
I’m not sure if this is due to our changing climate, but it was definitely a surprise to see and hear of other bluebirds around Southern Ontario, at this time of the year. On the other hand, it has been a very mild winter so far. And it is a possibility that they will survive.

If Seeing Or Feeling Low In Spirit:
If the blue you are seeing or feeling is not positive, it could lead to anxiety and perhaps depression. While they are many things you can do to help yourself at this time, it would be good to also seek the Lord and cast all your anxiousness on Him.
When anxiety was great within me, Your consolation (God) brought me joy. Psalm 94:1
Getting Rid Of That Blue Feeling:
One sure way to rid yourself of that blue feeling is to find yourself a hobby. Just being outdoors, even in the wintertime can be very beneficial. And furthermore, there is still lots you can see and do. Despite the cold weather, beauty still abounds.
Take a look at the wildlife around you, and consider their beauty. Not only will you forget your worries, but you may also develop a new passion and a more positive outlook.
Cast all your anxiety on Him (God) because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
