Food prices are at a premium. And you may be looking for creative ways to make food last longer. In addition to doing what you can, you should also rely on God. He knows how to make it last.

This is a good time for you to not be wasteful. And instead of buying food for a long time, you should buy fresh food in small amounts, so as not to let it spoil.

Rely on God to increase the little that you have. He has done it before and He can do it again.

With your belief in Him and His power, miracles can happen.

A Miracle With Food To Feed Five Thousand:

18 He said, “Bring them here to Me.” 19 Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples gave to the multitudes. 20 So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. 21 Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children. Matthew 14:18 – 21

When You Believe You Will Receive:

When you believe in Jesus Christ, you will more readily see the miracles He can work in your life. Furthermore, His word tells us that He will take care of all His creatures. And He will do far more for you than He will for the birds of the air. And we know that He also finds food for them, and make it last from day to day.

“Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12:6 -7

Don’t Be Pulled Down By Your Situation:

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?27 Which of you by worrying can add one [j]cubit to his [k]stature? Matthew 6:25 -27

Making Food Last:

Buy on-sale foods that last a long time like beans, pasta, rice, and flour. Because then you don’t have to worry about spoilage.

Remember it’s ok to eat leftovers or put some away for the next day.

You should ask God to bless the little that you have. And then rely on Him to do the rest. He has done it many times before and will do it again. And this is the way that you will see your food last much longer than you expect.
