Eagles are majestic birds. And they are mentioned quite often in the Bible.
This eagle was seen as we drove along a country road. It was perched in a tree close to the roadside. It stayed for a while giving us the opportunity to capture some photos.

Bible Verse Speaking About Eagles:
But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
I particularly love the above scripture, because it is filled with hope. Furthermore, it lets me know that when you depend on the Lord, He will strengthen and carry you. This is what God will do for you and me.

Eagles Build Their Nest High Up In Trees:
O you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, Who hold the height of the hill! Though you make your nest as high as the eagle, I will bring you down from there,” says the Lord. Jeremiah 49:16
Eagles do build there nest way up high. And on one of our adventures, we stood and watched as they both took bart in the building of their nest.
This Scripture though it refers to the eagles, also lets you know that God sees you wherever you may be dwelling. And it is also letting you know that in the same way God can lift up, He will also bring low.

Gracefully Landing:
Eagles though they are majestic birds, they weigh very little. As you can see from the photo above, this big bird can perch on a very small branch.
Eagle Used Symbolically:
‘Thus says the Lord God: “A great eagle with large wings and long pinions, Full of feathers of various colors, Came to Lebanon And took from the cedar the highest branch. Ezekiel 17:3
These are just a few of the ways that eagles are referred to in the Bible. They are used here to represent strength or to represent a king.
Great post and pictures. The word of God is our strength and reassurance. Bless you. 🙏🏾
