Different Types Of Refuge:
You may seek refuge in your place of residence, whether its a house, apartment or a cottage. Animals in the wild also find places of refuge.
Refuge Under Wings:
The little grebettes are only days old and they already know to seek safety and shelter. However, though safe under the wings, they seem curious about the new surroundings.

Attentive And Protective Parents:
As I watched, I couldn’t help but notice how much care the parents took to protect and feed the grebettes. Furthermore, all this was done while still sitting on eggs in some cases.
Wings Of Refuge Provided For Each Person:
There are many things in nature that you and I can learn from. Similarly the Bible takes things that happens in nature, and uses them to teach us object lessons.

Scripture:
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. Psalm 91:4-6
When you put your trust in God, and make Him your refuge, you don’t have to be fearful of all the horrible things you see happening around you.

Conclusion:
In the above photo, we see the grebette looking at its provider. You too need to take a closer look at your Provider. You need to get to know Him. And when you get to know Him, you will see how He has been providing for you. When you make the Lord your Refuge, He will have His angels protect you where ever you may go.

For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11
What precious photos! And the words and verses are perfect! I really love this post, such a great reminder that we need to trust Jesus 🙏😊
Thanks so much for reading Lisa. Yes, I do agree, we have to continually put our trust in Him, and remain in the shelter of His wings, especially in the times in which we are living.
Within His refuge, the best place for a heart to live, and the soul breathe!
This is so true Warren. The only place for us to be living.
Indeed!
Leola, your photographs and words share a special connection between life and applications from Scripture. Thanks so much for sharing. Grace and peace be with you.
Thank you Richard. Sometimes I think God allows me to capture certain photos, so as to open my mind as to what I should be writing about. Those are the easy ones. I wished it happened that way all the time.
Thanks for sharing back. The Lord’s grace and peace will continue to guide your photography.
Thank you so much.
