Lawlessness: Are We Living In A Time Of Lawlessness

Scroll down to content

Lawlessness Takes Place:

The Bible tells us that just before the end of time, much lawlessness will take place. I Often wonder, are you and I now living in a time of great lawlessness?

This shell of a house represents one that has been destroyed by lawlessness

Lawlessness Will Abound

Lawlessness And Much More Will Happen:

The Bible tells us that many things will happen where others will try to deceive followers of Jesus Christ. There will be wars and famines and earthquakes but all these things will just be the beginning of sorrows. And if this is just the beginning, you and I have some very rough times in our future.

Scripture:

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24:3-8

And The End Of The Age:

Just before the end of time, there will be much chaos (lawlessness,) in this world. And false prophets will deceive many. Furthermore, there will be much hate, and the hearts of many will show no love for one another. At this time, those who love and follow Jesus, must stay strong. And also remain faithful and be witnesses to the world, of what a Loving God we serve.

What Happens At The End:

Scripture:

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:9-14

There Will Be An Ending:

You must keep faithful and never waiver in our belief of Jesus Christ. And you must remember that though you may be ridicule for His sake, though you may be persecuted, in Him you will have eternal life. A day to an end of all lawlessness will be coming.

  1. This time of lawlessness is not supposed to make us scared but only serves as a indication that Jesus is coming soon. I feel hopeful about what is to come as the time draws near
    For his soon return.
