Animal Lovers And The One God I Love Forever

People Are Big Animal Lovers:

Most of us are animal lovers, we would do anything for them. We take them for walks and we talk to them. We spend money to groom them and to feed them. Cats and dogs are our pets on the home front, and we are also happy to see the wildlife in nature. All these beautiful creatures depend on us. We also benefit from being around animals, and gain many unseen rewards.

A hand in a black glove holds black oil sunflower seeds and a female downy woodpecker flies away from the hand with a seed in its beak.

Placed In The Care Of Mankind:

God loves animals and He also wants us to have a great relationship with them. I know this, because after He created Adam, He placed him in the Garden of Eden. God then told Adam to take care of the animals and to give each one an appropriate name.

Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. Genesis 2:20

Right from the beginning of time God placed animals in the care of mankind. He created the animals and gave them to Adam to name. Perhaps it is why to this day, we still love to give our animals names. It is as if God knows we can benefit from being around animals, and that is why so many of us are animal lovers.

My Forever Love:

There is always a perfect way in which things should be done. A perfect order. When God created this world He placed Adam in a garden. Adam was to take care of the garden and also the animals. I’m sure Adam became attached to those animals, thus probably becoming the first animal lover.

Though Adam loved the animals, his first love was to God. When God gave him a wife, she was to come second and then the animals.

God is my First Love, and He is to be the First Love (the one we all love first and most.) While God loves the animals dearly, and wants for us to care for them, and we should know that He loves us more than the animals.

Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. Matthew 10:29 Do not fear therefore; you (man) are of more value than many sparrows. Matthew 10:31

Three Take – Aways For Animal Lovers:

(a) Put God first in your lives making Him your First Love.

(b) We should kinder and more respectful to one another, as we are held higher that the animals.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Genesis 1:26

(c) Continue to love and care fo the animals that God placed in our care, but always remember the perfect order in which we are to do things.
