Faith is foundational to having a beautiful relationship with Jesus. We don’t suddenly have faith, but we gradually grow in faith as we put our trust in God. Our growth from faith comes when we exercise it on a daily basis.

The Meaning Of Faith:

The meaning of faith is to trust or to put our security in someone. It also means to be loyal and to have confidence. When we do all these things on a regular basis we will grow in our faith.

Daily Exercise:

In order to build our bodies, we usually exercise daily. And in order to grow in faith, we must also do daily exercises.

Spiritually Exercising Faith:

Spiritual exercises would consist of:

  • Reading regularly from the Bible
  • Praying daily
  • Talking constantly to Jehovah
  • loving our enemies, with the hope for a good outcome

The Power of Bold Faith

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible….

Hebrews 11

Conclusion:

We must be consistent with our Spiritual Exercises. When we daily spend time seeking Jehovah, we will grow in our faith. If we do not spend the time seeking Jehovah, we are likely to become filled with misgivings. Furthermore, misgivings can lead to distrust and disbelief. So it is up to us to make a choice. We will then either move forward or slide backward. Faith gives us hope, and a host of other positive thoughts.
