Giving Hope To The One Who Is Grieving

Scroll down to content

Those who believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit live and die with hope. In the year 2020-2021 there has been much grief and unbearable grieving. Scriptures tells us we can have hope because our weeping and our grief will not last for ever. Eternal joy is coming for all those who believe.

Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5

We have the hope that when Jesus returns, our loved ones who died resting in Him, will once again be restored to life, but this time it will be to eternal living. How wonderful it is to know the Lord and to have this hope in eternity and eternal living.

Our Hope In The Appearing of the Lord

13 Beloved brothers and sisters, we want you to be quite certain about the truth concerning those who have passed away,[h] so that you won’t be overwhelmed with grief like many others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe that God will bring with Jesus those who died while believing in him.[i] 15 This is the word of the Lord:[j] we who are alive in Him and remain until the Lord appears will by no means have an advantage over those who have already died,[k] for both will rise together.

16 For the Lord himself will appear with the declaration of victory, the shout of an archangel, and the trumpet blast of God.[l] He will descend from the heavenly realm[m] and command those who are dead in Christ to rise first. 17 Then we who are alive will join them, transported together[n] in clouds[o] to have an encounter[p]with the Lord in the air,[q] and we will be forever joined with the Lord. 18 So encourage one another with these truths. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-16

A New Heaven, A New Earth:

He will wipe away[c] every tear from their eyes
    and eliminate death entirely.
No one will mourn or weep any longer.
The pain of wounds will no longer exist,
for the old order[d] has ceased.” Revelations 21:4
