Today’s Word: Worship

So many are feeling a sense of loss with the churches being closed during this time of Covid. While the church is extremely important and a great place of support for biological families and church families to gather and worship God, Jesus also reminds us that He must be worshipped in spirit and in truth.

It is good to know that we can connect with God anywhere and anytime. When we can keep our minds and our hearts focus on Him, He is sure to shed some Light on any darken pathway.

Scripture:

From here on, worshiping the Father will not be a matter of the right place but with the right heart. For God is a Spirit, and He longs to have sincere worshipers who worship and adore Him in the realm of the Spirit and in Truth.”John 4:24TPT

“Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all peoples. For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared [with awe-filled reverence] above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are [lifeless] idols, But the LORD made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are [found] in His presence; Strength and joy are [found] in His place (sanctuary). Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, Ascribe to the LORD glory and honor and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory and honor due His name; Bring an offering [of thanksgiving], and come before Him; Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness. Tremble [reverently] before Him, all the earth; The world is firmly established, it will not be moved. Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; And let them say among the nations, “The LORD reigns.” 1 Chronicles‬ ‭16:23-31‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Hallelujah! With holy adoration, let every heart sing His praise! Father, even though church doors are closed, open onto You, let it forever be our hearts. Even though, the path seems darkened; the light of Your love still shines as bright as ever. With hearts in agreement, Your sons and daughters. Father, onto You; receive our worship! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
