Challenge: Triumphant Thursday:Courage

1   Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow  mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Courage

God Immanuel

God

Commands us

To be strong

And of good courage

Immanuel

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

John 14:27 – Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Don’t let your heart be troubled or fearful. John 14:27
Right now more then ever we must be courageous and not let fear grip us! …though it is not easy.

“But when they saw Him walking on the sea, they thought it was a ghost, and cried out [in horror]; for they all saw Him and were shaken and terrified. But He immediately spoke with them and said, “Take courage! It is I (I AM)! Stop being afraid.” Then He got into the boat with them, and the wind ceased [as if exhausted by its own activity]; and they were completely overwhelmed, because they had not understood [the miracle of] the loaves [how it revealed the power and deity of Jesus]; but [in fact] their heart was hardened [being oblivious and indifferent to His amazing works].” Mark‬ ‭6:49-52‬ ‭AMP‬‬

When we truly understand God’s love is near, our hearts take hold of His peace. When His heart is truly revealed, His love becomes the calm, through whatever becomes the storms.

  1. I like your verse! But I also like John 14:27 – Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Don’t let your heart be troubled or fearful.

    1. Thank you Lisa. This certainly is a time when we really need to lean on God, and ask for His protection. You are so right in saying it’s not an easy to be courageous especially when fearful situations are all around. My pray is that God will strengthen us His children with a supernatural strength, to stand and face whatever maybe before us.

    1. Amen Warren, thank you so much for reminding us of the power of God, and how He can give us the courage, by giving us peace when we are in fearful situations. Our God is a Mighty God.
