1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.
Today’s Word: Lawlessness
Hearts grow colder
Signs of an ending
The Signs Of The Times:
The Bible tells us that many things will happen where others will try to deceive followers of Jesus Christ. There will be wars and famines and earthquakes but all these things will just be the beginning of sorrows.
Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for[a]all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines,[b]pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24:3-8
And The End Of The Age:
Just before the end of time, there will be much chaos (lawlessness,) in this world. False prophets will deceive many, there will be much hate, and the hearts of many will show no love for one another. Those who love and follow Jesus, must stay strong at this time, remain faithful and be witnesses to the world, of what a Loving God we serve.
What Happens At The End:
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:9-14
Lawlessness will abound
Followers of Jesus hated
We must keep faithful and never waiver in our belief of Jesus Christ. We must remember that though we may be ridicule for His sake, though we may be persecuted, in Him we will have eternal life. A day to an end of all lawlessness will be coming.
“Do not be unequally bound together with unbelievers [do not make mismatched alliances with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial (Satan)? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said: “I WILL DWELL AMONG THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; A ND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE M Y PEOPLE. So COME OUT FROM AMONG UNBELIEVERS AND BE SEPARATE,” says the Lord, “A ND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will graciously receive you and welcome you [with favor], And I will be a Father to you, And you will be My sons and daughters,” Says the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 AMP
