1   Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow  mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Health

I may have used this word in the challenge already, but since today is the last day of 2020 I chose to use this word because it’s a word that consumed our lives this year due to the COVID virus.

Many are sick and dying, even when taking the best of precautions. Some may turn and blame the Lord for all that is happening, but we know that this world is only temporary. While we may die now, if we die believing in the Lord, we will one day live again. When we follow God we have much to look forward to. He may not heal us now, but one day we will still rise to live in eternity with Him.

I Need You Lord:

God always blesses those who are kind to the poor and helpless.
They’re the first ones God helps
when they find themselves in any trouble.
The Lord will preserve and protect them.
They’ll be honored and esteemed[a]
while their enemies are defeated.
When they are sick, God will restore them,
lying upon their bed of suffering.
He will raise them up again and restore them back to health.
So in my sickness I say to you,
“Lord, be my kind healer.
Heal my body and soul; heal me, God!
For I have confessed my sins to you. Psalm 41:1- 4
(TPT)

Conclusion:

If at this time you or any one in your household is sick, don’t give up hope. As you try to do all the right things by eating healthy, getting fresh air and exercise, remember that there is Power in Prayer. God hears our prayers, He hears us when we cry out to Him. We should all reach out to Him today and not only when all else has failed us.

For I will restore health to you,
and your wounds I will heal,
declares the Lord,
because they have called you an outcast:
‘It is Zion, for whom no one cares!’
Jeremiah 30:17 ESV

Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.
3 John 1:2 ESV

A joyful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
Proverbs 17:22 ESV

All these verses starting from the top to the bottom remind me of:
1) The goodness and promises of God never end
2) The power of prayer and love of a dear friend, which is so needed
3) And the results that come from the state of our hearts!

“Those who listen to instruction will prosper; those who trust the Lord will be joyful. The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive. Discretion is a life-giving fountain to those who possess it, but discipline is wasted on fools. From a wise mind comes wise speech; the words of the wise are persuasive. Kind words are like honey— sweet to the soul, and Healthy for the body.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16:20-24‬ ‭NLT‬‬ – Hallelujah!

Father, may health, be found in Your peace. May renewed strength, be known by depth of Your love. May the new be seen, in knowing the heart of Grace! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
