Welcome:
If you’re reading my blog for the first time welcome and I hope you will stop by often. Right now I am writing a series of Elfchen poems which will be mainly Bible base or on nature. I understand from my blogging friend Richard who also writes poems, that the word “Elfchen” means Elevenies, since these poems will have only Eleven words. You can check out some of Richard’s poems here Big Sky Buckeye At times you may also find me writing Haiku poems which will be a little different than Elfchen…both are very enjoyable to write, and what I like most about them; You can relay a message in very few words.

Lacking In Spirit:
If you feel that you are lacking, and in need, and that you cannot get by without the help of God, He sees your need, He sees my need. We need to keep reaching out and hanging on daily and eventually we will see and receive His blessings.
Blessed
Are you
Poor in spirit
God’s Kingdom is yours
Pray
“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:3

He Hears Our Cries:
If you are mourning the loss of a friend or loved one today, God can see your tears, my tears. God hears you and me when we are crying. We need to keep calling on Him each and every day.
Blessed
Are mourners
God is near
He will comfort you
Petition
Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4
Leola, your poetry brings the richness and truth of God’s enduring love to the forefront. Thanks for blessing us with these reminders as well as sharing your kind words. God’s peace!
Richard, thank you for reading and for commenting.
