1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Bind
Searching:
Many will seek a vacation or do yoga and certain exercises in the hope of finding a more peaceful state. We may find Self help books or other such things as we look to find a more harmonious and peaceful life. While all these things may hold some benefit, the Bible tells us how we can find true lasting peace.
Why do the same things over and over, when we do not find lasting results! It’s time we end our futility, by accepting the Words of the Bible, and apply them to our lives.

How To Find True Peace:
My son, do not forget my law,
But let your heart keep my commands;
2 For length of days and long life
And peace they will add to you.
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart,
4 And so find favor and [a]high esteem
In the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall [b]direct your paths. Proverbs 3:1-6
Conclusion:
Bind: to fasten or secure.
When we bind the Word of God to our hearts, it is only then that we will find the true peace that will last us forever. Does it mean that bad things may not happen? Absolutely not. What it does mean, that in whatever situation we may find ourselves, we can count on God…have faith, that He will see us through it.

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, Because the LORD has anointed and commissioned me To bring good news to the humble and afflicted; He has sent me to Bind up [the wounds of] the brokenhearted, To proclaim release [from confinement and condemnation] to the [physical and spiritual] captives And freedom to prisoners, To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance and retribution of our God, To comfort all who mourn!” Isaiah 61:1-2 AMP
Given if we don’t see it, God is working. Even if our hearts can’t feel it, God’s love is hovering. Even in unprecedented, pressing into God; binds up every broken heart, and soul. God’s blessings!
