Why We Do Certain Things:

I”m sure it’s not a coincidence that most of us eat certain foods and not others. As a person who loves wildlife photography I love to get out and find any opportunity to photograph an owl, a hawk, and better still an eagle. Most of us love to take photos of these creatures, but I can’t say I know of anyone who has eaten any of these creatures. Is this just by chance, or could it be that according to the Bible they are considered to be unclean! Or do we even know why we don’t eat them!

The Bible is filled with so much wisdom, and has answers to so many questions we may be looking to have answered. Perhaps it is a good thing to consider the words of wisdom which the Bible has to offer.

Words Of Wisdom From The Bible:

12 But these you shall not eat: the eagle, the vulture, the buzzard, 13 the red kite, the falcon, and the kite after their kinds; 14 every raven after its kind; 15 the ostrich, the short-eared owl, the sea gull, and the hawk after their kinds; 16 the little owl, the screech owl, the white owl, 17 the jackdaw, the carrion vulture, the fisher owl, 18 the stork, the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe and the bat. Deuteronomy 14:12-18
