1   Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow  mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Hunger

Seeking the right food when hungry

He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. Deuteronomy 8:3

While we all look for the right foods to keep us physically healthy and strong, we also need to remember that the word of God also will keep us strengthened and add to our good health and so it is a necessity.

15“Therefore they are before the throne of God,
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence.
16 They shall HUNGER no more, neither thirst anymore;
the sun shall not strike them,
nor any scorching heat.
17 For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd,
and he will guide them to springs of living water,
and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 7:15-17

“Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not Hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” John‬ ‭6:35-40‬ ‭ESV‬‬

In a time of thanksgiving, it’s wonderful to know; who’s the true bread of life. In a time when hearts are thirst, for a love that will forever quench… the thirsty soul. In a time of hunger, Jesus is the only one with a love… truly satisfying!

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” Matthew 5:6
May we always remain hungry and thirsty for righteousness in our own lives as well as the others around us. Follow the light of Jesus, for He is always righteous.
