1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.
Today’s Word: Cloud
The following verses from Revelation gives a glimpse as to what will happen at the end of time.
14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come [j]for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16 So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped. Revelation 14:14-16
“Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.” Exodus 13:22 (NIV)
“When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” Genesis 9:14-16
God will use a cloud in another way when the nation of Israel wondered for 40 long years. This cloud brought them protection and hid their presence from others so they would be safe.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. — Luke 21:27
He covers the heavens with clouds; he prepares rain for the earth; he makes grass grow on the hills. Psalm 147:8
I love God so much! May He continue to bless you for His honor and glory.
“Sing to GOD a thanksgiving hymn, play music on your instruments to God, Who fills the sky with clouds, preparing rain for the earth, Then turning the mountains green with grass, feeding both cattle and crows. He’s not impressed with horsepower; the size of our muscles means little to him. Those who fear GOD get GOD’ s attention; they can depend on his strength.” Psalm 147:7-11 MSG
Glory, to God! Hallelujah, the highest! May the song in our heart, forever be an anthem of Your heart. A psalm of praise, that rises up to the heavenly. A spiritual hymn, to describe the breadth within Your love!
