1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Devotion
Then the angel showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb (Christ), 2 in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 There will no longer exist anything that is cursed [because sin and illness and death are gone]; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve and worship Him [with great awe and joy and loving devotion]; 4 they will [be privileged to] see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. 5 And there will no longer be night; they have no need for lamplight or sunlight, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign [as kings] forever and ever. Revelations 22:1-5 AMP

“Lady Wisdom is at home in an understanding heart— fools never even get to say hello. God-Devotion makes a country strong; God-avoidance leaves people weak. Diligent work gets a warm commendation; shiftless work earns an angry rebuke.” Proverbs 14:33-35 MSG
God has Devoted, His love to us, Devoted His heart so we can forever seek. Gave His son, to show His devotion for His children. So therefore, how can we ever deny Him… our whole heart! God bless!

[The] LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee. 1Samuel 13:14
I believe King David shows us an example of devotion. Yes he slipped up, backslid, yet God’s Word tell us that “he was a man after God’s own heart.

1 Sam. 13:14b…[The] LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.
Amen…the God we serve is such an Awesome God. I am so thankful that He is so willing to easily forgive us when we ask Him.
