1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Manna
Remaining Grateful:
We should never remain discouraged when things do not turn out the way we expect them to, but instead we should remember that God does not sleep and that He is with us every step of the way.
We (I) do not know or fully understand why God allow various situations in our lives, but whatever happens, as long as we remain faithful to Him, He will see us through.
Discipline:
We are all imperfect human beings still needing to be disciplined. Just as a father would discipline a child that he loves and cares for dearly, we too are sometimes disciplined by God, because He loves us and cares for us.
Regardless of what happens we need to keep walking forward by faith, always giving thanks in every situation, never giving up or giving in, but believing that one day God will reveal Himself to us. He is in the darkness right beside us though we may not realize it. Though this is not an easy thing, we will be strengthened when we walk according to God’s way….the narrow way.
We should try not to be like the Israelites who grumbled and refused the manna that God provided, but rather take it without grumbling until He provides something else.
We will never fully understand why God allows some things, but we do know it is always to bring out the best in us. God is a God of Love, and one day our Lord Jesus Christ will return to this earth, and this long dark night will be over and we will finally enter an eternal morning.
How We Are To Walk:
Keep and live out the entire commandment that I’m commanding you today so that you’ll live and prosper and enter and own the land that God promised to your ancestors.
Remember every road that God led you on for those forty years in the wilderness, pushing you to your limits, testing you so that He would know what you were made of, whether you would keep his commandments or not.
He put you through hard times. He made you go hungry. Then he fed you with manna, something neither you nor your parents knew anything about, so you would learn that men and women don’t live by bread only; we live by every word that comes from God’s mouth.
Your clothes didn’t wear out and your feet didn’t blister those forty years. You learned deep in your heart that God disciplines you in the same ways a father disciplines his child.
Conclusion:
Though it is very important to take care of our physical and our emotional health, it is also very important to take care of our Spiritual Health. To be Spiritually Healthy is to know God and walk daily in the path that He has set out for us, and all His guidelines can be found within the bible.

“Yet He commanded the clouds from above And opened the doors of heaven; And He rained down Manna upon them to eat And gave them the grain of heaven. Man ate the bread of angels; God sent them provision in abundance. He caused the east wind to blow in the heavens And by His [unlimited] power He guided the south wind. He rained meat upon them like the dust, And winged birds (quail) like the sand of the seas.” Psalms 78:23-27 AMP
When the heavens are opened, the breadth of God is seen, and the love rains down. Food for thought, food for the soul. A heart filled, with abundant love; the blessings plentiful. To be satisfied, remain grateful; with a truly disciplined heart. Make worship the lifestyle, and His love forever… the focus!

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. — Revelation 2:17
The word ‘manna’ came to my mind early this morning, and then I saw another Christian post a devotional about it, and now your post – I love ‘God stops’ like this – Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. 🙂
Wow…that is so weird. The word also came to my mind earlier, and not knowing what to right about I just used the Scripture and wrote something, which really seems a bit disjointed to me…but who knows, perhaps it isn’t disjointed to God. Maybe He is bringing
Manna to our minds for a reason. I guess I’m going to have to seek Him on it a bit more for some revelation??
I love that! God certainly is weaving a wonderful pattern – I Love that He Is our Teacher and guide – I don’t know where the other person who posted lives, I live in Scotland, but God Is Teaching His Body across the world, that’s exciting. I’ll pray for you to hear His Voice as you seek more revelation.
Amen….God is certainly powerful. He is showing how He has the capacity to connect people wherever we maybe in the world. I’m in Canada. This brings to mind the song “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hand.”
Also, thank you for being obedient to Him in writing the post even though you didn’t know why – it has blessed and encouraged me 🙂
My pleasure….God is Amazing!!

So Margaret, if you read the first comment, the weirdness of this blog post continues. With your Scripture that you submitted, you have promptly told me where I saw the word “manna” today. Though I am still rather ashamed to say I forgot it,…. at 5:30am I was reading Revelations 1 & 2 and now I remember reading that scripture. Thank you for the reminder. What if I was to write on this particular verse….thank the Lord you added it, and the person from the first comment said they were blessed by the blog post. God sure works in mysterious ways.
Yes He certainly does because there are so many other verses that God could have led me to especially in the Old Testament since that is where we find “manna” mentioned the most. But look where He directed me, straight to the verse you read 🙂 Don’t be ashamed that you “forgot”. It seems to me that it was a confirmation and if you had “remembered” there would have been no confirmation 🙂 Praise the LORD for He is always putting us in the right directions 🙂
This is so true, He most certainly is.
I was reading a devotion which directed me to John 6:31-32.
“Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’ Then Jesus said to them, ‘Very truly, I tell you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven.'”
As Jesus goes on, He declares “I am the bread of life.”
Thanks Richard….Amen to God and His Guidance…our Provider, our Spiritual Food. Looking forward to that eternal morning.

Thanks so much Ace for your contribution and your continual support. It is appreciated.

If only we would all realize how sweet the “Spiritual Food’ is….filling and satisfying. Many walk around hungry and continually empty, not coming to the realization that its the filling from God that is needed. Thank you once again for your faithfulness in contributing Warren. Blessings.
Always a pleasure! 🙏🏽
Jesus is our manna from heaven!
Yes, this is so true Diana. He is our Living Water, He is our Food (Scriptures) we need to be feasting on. We really do need to realize and acknowledge it.
Amen! 🙌
