When we feel like evil surrounds us and there is absolutely nothing we can do to make a difference, we should remember these words…..
Then the e]” [e]seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”
18 And He (Jesus) said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but [f]rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:17-20

Reading this post a Scripture came to my mind, one that I have not thought of in some time.
Here it is: Isaiah 59:19 KJV
19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
Amen…it so reassuring to know we have someone to fight our battles for us.
Amen! We gather much strength and encouragement from the Word of God.
This is so true. It’s amazing how words can build us up or tear us down, and the Scriptures can certainly lift us up.
