Unexplained
My inspiration for writing this post came from a post which I read yesterday. In it a lady spoke of a light going out without a power outage, and then just coming back on. She also before going to bed saw a bluish light a-ghost-in-the-house you can read it at the provided link.
Things like this have happened to many of us. I will be quietly sitting working at the computer working on a blog post, when suddenly there could be a loud smack in the room close by me. While the initial smack will jolt me, I have learned not to be afraid of such things which cannot be explained, for the enemy is hard at work.
Spiritual Battle
We need to believe the Scriptures when it tells us that there is battle going on around us. I have come to know this and it has taken some of the fear away. Many do not want to hear of Satan and his angels, but he is the invisible enemy who is seeking to destroy us, whether it is with the coronavirus, mental health issues or other physical ailments.
There is a battle that is taking place between good angels and bad angels, and sometimes we may get glimpses of the fiery darts. In order to stay as safe as possible we need to hide ourselves in the “Rock,” which is our Lord Jesus Christ.
Don’t let the enemy scare you and me to think that there are ghost around us. This would be a good time to seek God and ask for His protection, to protection you from the enemy. His word tell us what we need to do in order to protect ourselves.
The Whole Armor Of God
Finally, build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of his mighty power. 11 Put on all the armor that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the Devil’s evil tricks. 12 For we are not fighting against human beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age. 13 So put on God’s armor now! Then when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist the enemy’s attacks; and after fighting to the end, you will still hold your ground.
14 So stand ready, with truth as a belt tight around your waist, with righteousness as your breastplate, 15 and as your shoes the readiness to announce the Good News of peace. 16 At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the Evil One. 17 And accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. 18 Do all this in prayer, asking for God’s help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God’s people. Ephesians 6:10-18
Why Scriptures Are Important
Remember when Jesus was tempted He always used the words, “It is written.” So in order to fight the enemy we must know the Scriptures and what they mean and have them at the ready to use, because when you know scriptures, you will know who God is and what He can do for you.
PS: Just to get this post out was a “Battle,” that’s how the enemy works.

Amen sister! Just finished leading a study out of Ephesians and it is rich with wisdom. The powers and principalities are hard at work these days. We must put on the armor and stand strong! BTW, my devotional thoughts are on my simplydiggingdeeper site! Thanks for sharing!
Very true. Thanks for stopping by and reading.
Very good post. We are in the midst of some major evil battles and we have to be strong, trust, pray and believe. And might I say pray again! I believe the prayers of the Christians are more important this year than ever before. And hopefully feel God’s peace through it all. 🤗
Amen….the only way to make it through each and every day is to pray and to keep praying some more.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Amen! There’s a battle indeed, but hallelujah. We have an armor, God’s promise; to never leave, or forsake!
Praising God for His Armor and may we continue to walk on in faith.
