Dunlin

This is a Dunlin which is a shore bird. It’s missing the left leg. It was the only shore bird we would see on that day. Perhaps it takes it a bit longer to get around in the water and is traveling a bit behind the other birds. At least the wings seem to be in working order and it still can fly. I wonder how it lost its foot!!

Not a bird goes unnoticed by God when it dies or when it is wounded . As much as He cares for the birds, He cares much more for us.

Many of us are walking wounded. We go from day to day and it may seem as no one cares. We can be assured that God sees all and nothing goes unnoticed under His watchful eye.

Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. Luke 12:6-7
