Today’s Word: Persecution

Persecutions Are Coming:  “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless  as doves. 17 But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues. 18 You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. 19 But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; 20 for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. Matthew 10:16-20

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Romans 8:35-36

Ace Emanuel:

“Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. “But whenever they persecute you in one city, flee to the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.
Matthew 10:21‭, ‬23 NASB

“He [Saul] fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me.’” Acts 9:4
In His infinite mercy, Jesus seeks us no matter the circumstances. If He can grant a sinner such as Saul a new life in Christ, imagine what He can do for each of us. Believe!

“Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or Persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.” Matthew‬ ‭13:18-21‬ ‭NIV‬‬
Father, may we not just hear, but listen. May we not have just understanding, but be willing to act upon. May we forever stand our ground, stand by faith. But most importantly, forever stand on the truth we have in You. So the love we’ve found, will never fade away! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
💛🙏🏼
God is Peace, the Prince of Peace Himself. The peace He gave unto to us is His and not that of the world for there is no peace in the world cause the god of this world is Satan and in him there is no peace. So that’s why the world is not at peace unless they come to Peace. He doesn’t wants us to be afraid nor troubled to all what is happening around us cause we have Him and He’s in us. We knowing this should have us at peace but you the flesh has the tendency of arising and allowing us to think and respond contrary. God bless and may we continue to rest in Him amidst the unrest in JESUS name. Amen. 💌

  1. AMEN! All of us will be and have already been persecuted for the name of our Father. But in this we must rejoice for great will be our reward when He returns or be it we go to meet Him before. <3

  2. My first thought was the Apostle Paul and how he was persecuted.
It reminds me that the trials I go through are minor in the light of the Apostle Paul.
Here is where he describes his persecuted:
    2 Corinthians 11:24-25 MSG
24  I’ve been flogged five times with the Jews’ thirty-nine lashes,
25  beaten by Roman rods three times, pummeled with rocks once. I’ve been shipwrecked three times, and immersed in the open sea for a night and a day.

    1. Yes I see that. Initially he was the one as Saul doing the persecuting, and here he now is as Paul, the one being persecuted for Christ. At some time in our lives, I think we will also be the ones deciding if we will make a stand for God, and as a result…also experience persecution.

  3. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. — 2 Corinthians 12:10 KJV

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 2 Timothy 3:12 KJV

    1. Amen, may we count it as joy, not if….but when we are persecuted for our Christ Jesus.

  5. From the conversion of Saul: Acts 9:4.
“He [Saul] fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me.'”

  6. I feel this verse sums up the state of my mind as we make sense of all these recent political and religious movements. Subsequently, we are confidently comimg to understanding that religious freedom, privacy and morality are moving closer and closer to extinction. These words from Jesus gives credence to the last days events. “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. “But whenever they persecute you in one city, flee to the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.

    1. Amen, thanks for this Ace. We do see here that the last days will certainly be rapid.
