Today as I look at these photos, especially the Hawk Owl, I remember the wonderful opportunities for bird-watching that comes in the winter months. We are now however into another season, and with joy I still hope to see the birds as they migrate back to our area.
Many birds are already back and migration time is almost at its peak. Oh, how we had plans to go to certain locations to see the warblers as they past through. The warblers are so hard to capture, and I’m yet to get really good photos of them. They truly give you a challenge as they move around. I will still like to see them as I keep remembering to stay physically and socially distant.

As I look at the different birds, at the beauty of them and the colours and the different shapes and sizes, I can’t help but think of our Creator.
The smallest of birds can have so much details. They are all different shapes and sizes, and have different habits. Animals do bring lots of beauty and pleasure to our environment and I’m sure God had His reason for also creating them, for just as He made man from the dust of the earth, all the animals were also made from the dust of the earth.

Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man (Adam) to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals. Genesis 2:19-20

What an Amazing God we have. He truly is a most Creative Creator.
As sin crept into mankind, it also crept into the animal kingdom, and that is why we still have to be careful around these magnificent looking creatures. However, a day is coming when God will once again make all that is wrong right for evermore. Not only will man be perfected for eternity, but all the wild animals will also be tamed.

“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb,
The leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
The calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
And a little child shall lead them.
7 The cow and the bear shall graze;
Their young ones shall lie down together;
And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole,
And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,
For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord
As the waters cover the sea. Isaiah 11:6-9
What a wonderful day that will be, when we will no longer have to fear any of these magnificent creatures, nor will they be afraid of us.

Totally makes me think of this old hymn
There is coming a day,
When no heart aches shall come,
No more clouds in the sky,
No more tears to dim the eye,
All is peace forever more,
On that happy golden shore,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
What a day that will be,
When my Jesus I shall see,
And I look upon His face,
The One who saved me by His grace;
When He takes me by the hand,
And leads me through the Promised Land,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
There’ll be no sorrow there,
No more burdens to bear,
No more sickness, no pain,
No more parting over there;
And forever I will be,
With the One who died for me,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
What a day that will be,
When my Jesus I shall see,
And I look upon His face,
The One who saved me by His grace;
When He takes me by the hand,
And leads me through the Promised Land,
What a day, glorious day that will be
Amen, indeed….what a glorious day that will be when He takes us by the hand and lead us through the promise land…..Awesome 👏🏽👏🏽Such beautiful words.

Beautiful 🥰
Thank you so much 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Beautiful images especially that of the raccoon.
Thank you Diana!!
You’re welcome!
I am with Diana that Racoon is adorable. It looks like it is praying 🙂
😀He could be……Sometimes I’ve also thought that when I see waterfowl standing in the water opening and closing their wings as they look upwards. They look like their praising God.🙏🏾🙏🏾
I feel they are 🙂 They know Who takes care of them 🙂 What is the verse that says the birds don’t worry about what they will eat? Wonder why? Maybe because they know God loves them and will provide 🙂
This is so true!!
