What The Bible Says About The End Time

Scroll down to content

Just about every day in the news, we see authorities who seem to be so puzzled by the Coronavirus and how it is affecting people on a global scale. Not only is it affecting the physical health and mental health of people, but its also affecting the economy in a big way. As a result, we hear the authorities say this a lot “Our nation has never faced anything like this before.”

As I was reading in the book of Daniel, I came across this verse, it was so similar that I just wanted to share:

Prophecy Of The End Time

“At that time Michael shall stand up,
The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people;
And there shall be a time of trouble,
Such as never was since there was a nation,……. Daniel 12:1

You can read the full story in Daniel 12

I know that many think that the Bible is outdated, but it would be interesting to hear  your thoughts.

    1. Yes, I believe God in His graciousness is giving us this time to make up our minds as to whom we’ll serve. We need to be all in with Him, not one foot in and one foot out.

  1. We just don’t know, but we do need to be ready! And make sure we share God’s love however he may lead us. People are scared, we need to be caring and confident that God’s got this. There are opportunities all around us! 🙏🏻🤗💙

    1. Amen, no one knows when Jesus will return, but His word tells us we will know by the signs when He is near. Yes, I also agree….WordPress is a good platform for spreading the love of God around the globe 🌎 to others. This is a great time for all to seek God and connect with Him on a personal level. Blessings.

  2. We are facing challenges of a lifetime, but I remain faithful God is with us. We can never know His plan, but He has used His people through the centuries to carry out it out. Let us live each day, cover others with prayer, and walk without fear.

  3. The bible will never be outdated, it is as relevant today as ever. Those with spiritual eyes can see, that moving; trying to get the worlds attention. No Christian should be living in fear, or stockpile what the world has to offer. It’s a time to be still, and listen; God is speaking!

  4. You are perfectly right, my dear. The bible is fulfilling in our eyes. The warrior angel Michael is fighting the enemy right now on our behalf. Thank you for sharing.

    1. Wow if you are reluctant to consider whether we are nearing the end, you could be caught totally off guard. You could also fall asleep like five of the virgins. Coming as a thief in the night mean we do not know when a thief may come, but we have to prepare ourselves and take precautions so that we are not caught off guard by a thief. The bible tells us in Matthew 24:42 “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” ……..It also tells us in Matthew 24:33 “So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors!”………In other words we will know by the signs that god gives us in the bible when He is near…….No one know when Jesus will return to this earth, but we will know He is near by the happenings around us.

  5. I know I am saved through faith in Christ – to maybe be more specific about reluctance, I mean I’m reluctant to engage with trying to predict when it will happen. Some people seem to say ‘the end is nigh’ at every world disaster as if they are predicting the second coming within the next few weeks
