Initially Eden was to be a peaceful place to live in, and we would have had the perfect relationship with the animals, but sin crept in, changing behaviours.
On this particular day, as I walked through the woods God chose to show me some of the same sinful flaws which we humans have, being exhibited in these beautiful creatures.
I got to observe how some of the birds could dominate, hoard and bully the others around them with there bad behaviour. It was a beautiful day and the songs of the birds announcing spring could be heard, but one song was louder and it was the sound of the aggressor.
I placed some peanuts on a wooden post for all the birds to share, but soon they would be claimed by the most aggressive one among them. The aggressive blue jay took more than he needed and even then, he tried to prevent the others from taking any peanuts.
Right now we are in a global crisis, and the same aggressive behaviours God was allowing me to see on that particular day, is being played out in humanity. When people should be sharing with each other, some are buying up the household items to resell at exorbitant prices looking to become rich. The bible also has a word to say about those who seek to become rich by deceiving others.
Try to make a profit dishonestly, and you get your family in trouble. Don’t take bribes and you will live longer. Proverbs 15:27
Everything on this earth belongs to God, and it could be such a beautiful place if we were kinder and more generous with one another in humanity and in the animal kingdom. One day soon it will all be restored, and we will once again have peace perfect peace.
