1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Anxious
Right now, as dwellers on this earth, no matter where we are, there is much that can cause us to be anxious on any given day. Now added to all our daily stresses, we have a virus (coronavirus) which seems to be affecting the whole world.
This could be a time of concern for all, and one of great anxiousness for some. God tells us that we can bring all our worries to Him and He will carry them for us. If you have never done this before, you should try it. The more you give your burdens to the Almighty God, the less stress you will be.
This is also a time when many of us will be paying close attention to our physical health, which is a good thing, but while we do this, it is still good to put our Spiritual Health first.
When we put our Spiritual Health first, we will become more peaceful (less anxious) and God will enlighten our minds as to how we can be emotionally and physically strengthened.
This is not a one time panacea, but just a better way to live on a daily basis. The same way we wait to get that perfect flight shot in photography, or to sit and wait to catch that big fish…..the same patience and time need to be given to our God Almighty each and every day. He is the one that can transform our lives, taking away our anxiety, and bringing us to a place of peace, even within the most chaotic situation.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6

“They shall see the glory of the Lord, the majesty of our God. Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who have an ANXIOUS heart, “Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.” Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped; then shall the lame man leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy. For waters break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert; the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water… Isaiah 35:2-7 ESV

“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.”
I love this verse because when I think of my savior consoling me in those moments of high anxiety or stressful days, it is such a beautiful thing. I can’t help but find joy, even in those moments of heartache.

Look to the Lord with devotion when we need calmness with any life situation. His love will bring us peace when we need it most.
Such awesome and comforting words. Thanks Richard.
