1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Freedom
[ The Year of the Lord’s Favor ] The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, Isaiah 61:1
So many of us think that to sever God is to be restricted in many way, when that can’t be further from the truth. When we believe in God and when we serve Him, this is where we will find true freedom.

“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your FREEDOM to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” Galatians 5:13-16 NIV
Freedom in Christ, freedom because of Christ. Freedom, is Jesus Christ!

“As servants of God, live as free people, yet do not use your freedom as a pretext for evil.” 1 Peter 2:16
In serving God, He allows us the freedom to make certain choices. None of these decisions should bring evil upon our neighbors.
Ace Emanuel:
But you must be careful so that your freedom does not cause others with a weaker conscience to stumble.
1 Corinthians 8:9 NLT
We are our brothers keeper and if we claim to have freedom in Christ then we are obligated to help our struggling brothers/ sisters

I am a Christian who believes in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I also believe that Jesus will soon return to this earth.
I believe that if the Caterpillar can fly we too can learn to fly. We just have to attach our wings in the right place. As you know the Caterpillar uses the Milk Weed as its host, its source for food. And we too have a "Host" and He also provides us with abundant food. If we used the fuel from this food (Scripture) effectively, we too would be able to fly. Our "Minds" can be freed from all burdens and stress. We can more easily be lifted up when we allow God to be our Host. He would continually feed us. God through His word can teach us how to fly...if only in our thoughts and minds.

Amen Richard…our God is such a loving God, and even when we make a mess of things as we all are known to do at times, He is so filled with compassion and willing to forgive. Thanks for taking part.
Leola, I appreciate the times when I participate in your Bible challenge. May God fill your life with His blessings this week.
Thanks Richard!!

Who knew there were so many amazing scriptures in relation to “freedom.” It also makes so much sense, because the bible also tells us that the greatest commandment of all is to love, so we can only love like Christ does….when we are totally free in Him. I feel as though a light bulb just came on. Something being reinforced!! 😀 As always, thanks for this Warren. Blessings.
Indeed, always a pleasure!
