1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Sick
As we follow Jesus and make progress in our faith, I pray that Jesus will empower us through His Holy Spirit, just as He empowered His disciples who were mere human beings just like you and I.
After they had the privilege of gaining power through the Holy Spirit, they were told to freely give just as they had freely received.
And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Matthew 10:7-8
Again…if you are reading this from somewhere in the world that is stricken with much sickness at this time….what have you got to lose. Call upon the name of Jesus and cry out to Him. He is our All powerful God.
When we put all our trust in God, wonderful things can happen.

But when Jesus heard that, He said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. — Matthew 9:12

“Hope deferred makes the heart Sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. Whoever scorns instruction will pay for it, but whoever respects a command is rewarded. The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, turning a person from the snares of death. Good judgment wins favor, but the way of the unfaithful leads to their destruction.” Proverbs 13:12-15 NIV

James 5:14-15
“Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.”
There is no reason why we cant tap into the power of the holy spirit who can heal all deseases when we seek him. We sometimes forget we have this unlimited power source that we can tap into through prayer at anytime. I thank God he has made this exception for us.
Amen Ace…this is so very true. We forget about this unlimited power which comes from God, and instead many of us try to do things in our own strength. Many will try self help, chanting etc but it truly is time to call out to God in prayer. It’s time to change thought patterns and stop doing the same things over and over that’s not working. It’s time to believe that God still is a Healer.

God bless!
Such beautiful scriptures and so filled with wisdom. I pray that these scriptures will strengthen all who read them, and that if they don’t know Jesus,….. that they may find Him and follow His instructions for us, so that we may have a more abundant life.
Amen! Abundant life, abundant love; God’s love in abundance!

And who among us are really truly whole!! Another great scripture to remind us that we are all in need of the great Savior.
