How I Know God Has The Whole World In His Hand

My Blog Post Map:

The world usually seem like such a big place to me. These are the places shaded in pink around the world that my blog has reached so far. Out of 195 countries it has reached 132, so I still have a ways to go. The dark pink area is the United States where most of my views come from. I pray that this year many more countries and people from those countries might be added.

I have made the earth, And created man on it. I—My hands—stretched out the heavens, Isaiah 45:12

Not So Big After All:

Just lately with the Coronavirus, it shows us how small this world really is, and how interconnected we are.

Wherever you may be in this world, whatever you may be going through, just remember that you are a child of God. When we believe in God, it is very beneficial to us.

Our Pastor just started a series of sermons at our church under the heading of B O L D.

My Blog Map

Belief:

The “B” in the word BOLD stands for belief. This belief is not just believing in God on a superficial level, (that won’t take us very far) but it’s to get to the point in our faith, where we are putting our total reliance on God. It’s the type of belief where we know that God will fight our battles. It’s the type of belief where we know that we have a source of power available to us through the Holy Spirit.

See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Isaiah 49:16

Wherever you may be on my blog map, whatever you may be going through, you may be in quarantine, or maybe feeling imprisoned in a number of ways, just remember you belong to God. He has your name written in the palm of His hand.

If you are a Christian, tap into that deeper faith that you know is available to you through the Holy Spirit. Now is the time for total reliance on God. Now is the time to truly believe.

If you are a non believer at this point, perhaps this might be a good time to try taking a step in another direction. Jesus is real, and His is All Powerful. He really is a Healer, among so many other things.

A good place to start would be to get a bible or bible app and get to know Him….to really truly know Him. This is the only way to build on faith, to build on your belief system. Yes, it takes time, but it can be done. God knows our hearts. He loves us and also wants us to love and worship Him.

So if you are in a dark place in your life right now….perhaps you could be one of those suffering from the Coronavirus, you may be in quarantine, call out to Jesus, ask Him to help you to get through this crisis. When you get through your crisis, don’t forget about Him, continue to thank him and to follow him.

Putting Our Faith On The Power Cycle:

Building in our belief in Jesus Christ is a daily exercise. I remember when I only knew the word (believe in Jesus Christ) but didn’t really know what it felt like to believe. However I started by reading the bible from beginning to end…Old Testament and New Testament, because there is a lot of spiritual wealth in the Old Testament. You would miss out on wonderful scriptures like Jeremiah 29:13 which tells us exactly what we need to do in order to find God. There are also many promises that God gives to us throughout the Old Testament. Promises we can claim and apply to our lives immediately.

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. Matthew 10:1

Since the beginning of the year, I keep thinking that I would like to take my faith to another level, because I do believe that we have power available to us through the Holy Spirit. If it was available to the disciples, it can also be available to us. So this is where I would love to be in my belief system. This is where we should all be striving to be in our belief system, especially if we believe that Jesus will be coming soon.

So the things I write here is not only for others, but also for myself and how I see God working in my life…an example of this would be what happened this morning.

I got up early and decided I would go to the gym. As I was preparing to go to the gym, I started to feel dizzy and not well at all. What a time for that to happen. This is at the point where I would lay down and wait for those feelings to pass. Today however, the words power cycle…..power cycle…….power cycle kept coming to my mind. Of course with not feeling well, I was a little slow to get the message.

Yes, “Power Cycle.” This was the perfect time to by faith believe that power  is available to us through the Holy Spirit. As I realized this, I started praying just where I was, asking for God to strengthen me, and to get me through this feeling of not being well, so I could go to the gym. God did bless me and I was able to go to the gym, and I am thankful and do not take it for granted.

Prayer: I’m praying to God today for the world at large, especially for all those who are either in quarantine and suffering from the Coronavius. My prayer is for healing and that God’s perfect will to be done in all our lives.

  1. Praise God!

I’m like you, I want to take my faith to a new level.

We have power to persevere when our mind tells us to stop or give up.

Our God is called El Shaddai.

The God of more than enough!

    Great post!
