…..Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today…….Exodus 14:13

Forest is groaning
If you stand still long enough
Its cries can be heard.

I am a Christian who believes in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I also believe that Jesus will soon return to this earth.
I believe that if the Caterpillar can fly we too can learn to fly. We just have to attach our wings in the right place. As you know the Caterpillar uses the Milk Weed as its host, its source for food. And we too have a "Host" and He also provides us with abundant food. If we used the fuel from this food (Scripture) effectively, we too would be able to fly. Our "Minds" can be freed from all burdens and stress. We can more easily be lifted up when we allow God to be our Host. He would continually feed us. God through His word can teach us how to fly...if only in our thoughts and minds.

The salvation of the Lord is all around us in nature. The creation groans and travails for the coming of the Lord. Blessings.
Yes, this is very true, and why it was my inspiration for this poem. For we know that the whole creation groans….Romans 8:22 I was out enjoying nature the other day, with the birds calling and the peacefulness that comes with it. However, I kept hearing loud noises every once in a while. The last noise was so loud that it jarred me. I walked away puzzled. Then it came to my mind what was possibly happening….the roots of those large trees were being dislodged. The next day God brought these simple words to my mind…so yes, the earth certainly is groaning.
I understand how you felt. Sometimes the noise of the wind appeared as if it is telling us something.
Not the sound of the wind…..but of trees being uprooted. This old earth is certainly groaning in many ways.
Lovely haiku!
Thank you. I felt inspired to write it after being out in nature.
You’re utmost welcome and nature surely inspires us when we spend enough time soaking it in.
Beautifully decorated. Nature reveals His Glory.
Amen…yes it does. So true!!
Beautiful Haiku! I have been in the forest, and I have heard the ancient trees speaking of God’s love of His creation.
An awesome place to be, and to see God’s beauty all around!!
