1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Humble
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. James 4:10

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 5:6-11 NIV

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabitheth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. –Isaiah 57:15

And I went to hit the “like” button and unfollowed you instead. Thankfully I noticed and re-followed you. It would be a shame to miss your inspiration 🙂
😀That also happens to me sometimes. I hope I’m still following you…you’ve been in my mind and prayers all week as I haven’t seen any of your post. Hope everything is ok.
Yes I am doing well. I had a health issue, nothing life threatening. I also went on a trip 🙂 So, you haven’t missed anything because there hasn’t been anything posted for about 2 weeks hahaha 🙂 BUT I am so very thankful for your prayers. They are a blessing 🙂
Glad to hear all is well.

No words needs to be said, the scripture speaks volumes! Blessings, my sister!
Amen….Thanks Warren.
You’re welcome!
I am a bit late with this comment.
Philippians 2:8
“He [Jesus] humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death–even death on a Cross.”
This verse is at the heart of the Ressurection. God sacrificed His only Son, who humbly and obediently walked to a criminal’s Cross in our place. I humbly kneel in prayer because I do not deserve such a gift. Christ’s offering of Salvation comes to believers who truly understand its mission and intent.
Thanks bigskybuckeye….so very true and something that we should never forget.
