Today’s Word: Battle

As Christians serving God we are all in a battle. Each and every day something may arise in our lives. While we look to fight what we see in front of us, the one who seeks to do us harm cannot be seen. Our fight is one, that if fought through faith in prayer….when we do it, we too will win the battle.

Prophets Who Fought By Faith:

David, Samson, Gideon, Barak and many other prophets fought by faith. God was their shield and armor, and because of that, they were able to do mighty things in battle.

…….who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Hebrews 11:33-34

From Psalm 24:8
“Who is the King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle.”
God is with us in our own daily skirmishes on the playing field of life. Each of us needs to be prepared and ready (read more in Ephesians 6:10-17).

“I pursued my enemies and overtook them; And I did not turn back until they were consumed. I shattered them so that they were not able to rise; They fell [wounded] under my feet. For You have encircled me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.” Psalms‬ ‭18:37-39‬ ‭AMP

Hallelujah! Might is the Lord, God of the angles army!
