When we invite the Holy Spirit into our lives we will seek to live our life in a more positive and joyous manner. He will fill us, and we will show love and kindness to those around us, as we continue to be faithful to God in all that we do. With our faith in God, the Holy Spirit will give us the strength that is needed to be filled with self-control. With this self control, we will be more gentle towards others, not acting out in belligerent ways, that can ultimately lead situations out of control.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23

Amen!!
What a wonderful promise! Interestingly enough, we were discussing this topic at church yesterday .
How awesome…I was inspired by the 10 days of prayer….so that’s probably why.
I love when God ties things together like that.
Yes….He does have a way of doing things like that.
