1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Vine
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. John 15:4
If we want to be successful witnesses for God, we must walk hand in hand with Him. This is the only way we will be truly productive. We must be continually seeking, not just when we are in need, but also when all seems to be well with us.

“And because of the abundance of the milk they give, there will be curds to eat. All who remain in the land will eat curds and honey. In that day, in every place where there were a thousand VINES worth a thousand silver shekels, there will be only briers and thorns. Hunters will go there with bow and arrow, for the land will be covered with briers and thorns. As for all the hills once cultivated by the hoe, you will no longer go there for fear of the briers and thorns; they will become places where cattle are turned loose and where sheep run.” Isaiah 7:22-25 NIV
God has given our hearts abundance, but the heart is dreadfully wicked. The land flows with milk and honey, the heart eats… but is never satisfied. In these days thousands are blessed within the garden, but the day comes… when thorns overtake; greed fill evil hearts. God’s elect needs to be wise as a dove, but cunning… to not be deceived. Even though the cattle is a heard, the sheep needs to stand strong, and not just run… away from the truth!! Warren Richards Interpretation

Following His telling of the Parable of the Wicked Tenants (of the vineyard), Jesus responds in Matthew 21:42.
“Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; this was the Lord’s doing, and it is amazing to our eyes’?”
Christ is the stone rejected at the Cross. Upon His Resurrection, Jesus becomes the cornerstone of our faith.
Amen—-thanks for taking part bigskybuckeye.
