A few days ago we took the opportunity to go for one of those long drives into the countryside. We traveled for two hours to the north of us, going into the Haliburton region.
The further north we traveled, we could see the vibrant fall colors appearing.
While there are many places around where you can view the fall colors, I just loved seeing the beautiful reflections in the water.
Many of these photos were taken in the Dorset Community, with it’s Painted Lakes and Lookout Tower.
It was very picturesque place to spend a few hours.
Though it is with some sadness that we see the summer pass by, one can’t help but take a moment to be joyous as our eyes feast on the colors of nature.
And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding. Daniel 2:21

You are most welcome.🌹🙏
What beautiful autumnal colours!
Yes, it’s such a beautiful time of year!!
What beautiful photos. I’ve never visited the Haliburton region but, after reading your post, would definitely like to do so.
You should, just the drive alone is very beautiful. We drove by many lakes where the fall colors were so beautifully reflected in the water.
Wow! Tremendously beautiful! <3 could imagine it's beauty in reality! Camera truly can't capture that! What a blessing to behold! Thanks so much for sharing with us! God bless you & keep you in His grace forever. Amen. <3 blessings! 🙂
Gorgeous! I can’t say I’m sad to see summer go from down here in Tennessee. It just left us last week taking it’s 97-degree heat with it finally! We’re quite thrilled to have some temps below 90. 😉
We won’t say the same here—but I’m glad for you!!
Wow! These pictures are beautiful and the verse fits in so perfectly. Continue to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation.
The wind has been strong the last couple of days, so I’m sure they will be gone soon. Then I guess I’ll have to look forward to the beauty of the snow and all that it brings.
I look forward to your pictures of the snow. I am sure they will be lovely.
So of right now, I say I will embrace each snowfall instead of looking at it with dread…hopefully that won’t change. 😃
Again, your photos are breath taking. I just love them!
Thank you so much for your kind words!!
Beautiful fall colors!!
Thank you Nora!!
