1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Thanks
In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Thessalonians 5:18

This weekend is the Canadian Thanksgiving, and though many will take time this weekend to be thankful, we should remember that every day when we awake and are still breathing, it is something to be thankful for.

Yesterday my hubby and I took some time out to enjoy the beautiful fall colors. Even with all the talk of Climate Change, it is still very refreshing to spend some time outdoors drinking in the beauty of nature and breathing in the “fresh” air.
I am very thankful to God for the beauty of this day, and for all His blessings each and every day.

From Psalm 92:1
“It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High.
When we pray to God, we should remember to thank Him for the many blessings we have received.

“And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying, “We give THANKS to you, Lord God Almighty, who is and who was, for you have taken your great power and begun to reign. The nations raged, but your wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged, and for rewarding your servants, the prophets and saints, and those who fear your name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth.””
Revelation 11:16-18 ESV
The time draws near oh, Lord. For Your love to judge the hearts of man. A time for all knees to bow, all hearts shall give an account for their deeds. The time draws near oh, Lord. All eyes shall behold, You forever reign! The season change, but how thankful are we. That Your love is so great, but graceful indeed!

I am a Christian who believes in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I also believe that Jesus will soon return to this earth.
I believe that if the Caterpillar can fly we too can learn to fly. We just have to attach our wings in the right place. As you know the Caterpillar uses the Milk Weed as its host, its source for food. And we too have a "Host" and He also provides us with abundant food. If we used the fuel from this food (Scripture) effectively, we too would be able to fly. Our "Minds" can be freed from all burdens and stress. We can more easily be lifted up when we allow God to be our Host. He would continually feed us. God through His word can teach us how to fly...if only in our thoughts and minds.

Amen!!
O Lord, truly I am Your servant;
I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant;
You have loosed my bonds.
17 I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving,
And will call upon the name of the Lord. (Psalms 116:16-17)
Giving thanks to God can sometimes be a sacrifice because we have to learn to thank Him inspite of. Thank you for posting this challenge to us.
I’m always thankful when I am out in Nature!
I see the Maples are turning nicely!
Yes, even though it’s so flawed—so much beauty still remains in nature.
there is beauty everywhere,we need to only look upon it
Absolutely—so very true!!
