The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
The God of glory thunders;
The Lord is over many waters.
The voice of the Lord is powerful;

The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars,
Yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon.

 He makes them also skip like a calf,
Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.

 The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire.

The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness

The Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.

 The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth,
And strips the forests bare;
And in His temple everyone says, “Glory!”

Psalm 29:3-9

  1. The most vital thing in life is to hear the voice of the Lord. His voice say let there be and there was. The voice of the Lord creates the visible and the invisible

  2. Amen! The Psalms contain such insight and praise. I always appreciate your sharing of God’s Word.

    Leola, I have nominated you for a Sunshine Blogger Award. It is posted on my blog as of 10/5. Whether you choose to participate or not is up to you. I just want you to know how much I appreciate your blog.

  3. Thanks bigskybuckeye in regards to the Psalms.
    I think that I will pass on the Award though. I tried them when I first stated blogging quite enthusiastically, but they never turned out how I expected them too, and they became too many, so I decided not to do them anymore. Thanks also for your positive comments in regard to my blog.
