A Picture Of A Room In Heaven

Scroll down to content

I know many of us say that heaven is right here and right now. While some aspect of that may be true, there is actually a place called heaven and according to the Bible, there is one room that I know of for sure.

I can’t say that I do this all the time, but many times when praying, especially with the situation seems dire, I picture myself in this room. This is a good place to kneel and pray, before the throne of God, surrounded by His Light.

The Throne Room of Heaven

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”

Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the  seven Spirits of God.

Before the throne there e]”>[e]was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:

“Holy,f]”>[f] holy, holy,
Lord God Almighty,
Who was and is and is to come!”

Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

11 “You are worthy, g]”>[g]O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they h]”>[h]exist and were created.”

  1. Indeed it is a good place to kneel and pray before God!
Likewise, I picture myself many times when I worship God in my little space at home in a room similar to this; full of light and watching the Lord sited on the throne shining bright.

    1. Yes, it’s a wonderful place to be. For me it’s like getting a taste of heaven right here and now on earth. I also picture the person I’m praying for right there in front of the throne also, placing them under God’s watchful eye. Just think—as much as we imagine it, it will be so much more beautiful. Anyway, it’s a very safe place to be. After all the scripture does tell us to fill our minds with beautiful things, and this place is one of the places that I think of often.

  2. Amen! Glory to God! There is a room in heaven where we bow before Him on His glorious throne. I’ve envision and seen it already when deep in praise and worshipping in songs to Him. I feel His holy presence falling on me and filling me up with His Holy Spirit! It’s so beautiful and mighty! <3 stay blessed and faithful to God sis! 😉

    1. Yes, I too when praying will find myself in this room, and the ones I pray for I will also place them before Him there. God is Awesome and worthy to be praised at all times. Thank you for reading…….sending blessings your way.
