1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Fear
Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. Psalm 33:8
As most Christians know the word “fear” used in this sense does not mean to be terrified or to dread the Lord, but when used in this sense it means “love.” Or as in the verse above it uses the word “awe.”
If you are in doubt look up the word “fear” in your dictionary and look at the antonyms, and you will see words like: assurance, confidence, faith, contentment, trust, comfort, love, calmness etc.

“FEAR not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Behold, all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish. You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them; those who war against you shall be as nothing at all. For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “FEAR not, I am the one who helps you!” Isaiah 41:10-13

From Isaiah 50:10
“Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the voice of his servant, who walks in darkness and has no light, yet trusts in the name of the Lord and relies upon his God?”
