He who loves purity of heart And has grace on his lips, The king will be his friend. Proverbs 22:11
God wants His followers to have clean hearts. He wants us to speak and act gracefully and to live a life far from undermining, or dragging down each other. This is what it means to have a purity of heart. He wants us to have an innocent and clean heart.
When we have a clean and innocent heart, it is easier to have faith and to believe in God. It’s easier to believe that God will do the things He said He will do in our lives.
If you are going through any hardships at this time in your life, remember that God said if we have the faith of a mustard see, we could move mountains.
So whatever mountain you may be trying to remove at this time, whatever hurdle you may be trying to jump over, have faith in God, believe, believe, believe, and see the mountains removed from your life.
This exercise of faith should not be just for a moment, it should be a way of life, being lived by us every minute of the day, every second of each and every day.
What is Faith:
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. ...Hebrews 11:1-3
Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Matthew 6:30
These are a few examples of what others faith did for them.
But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour. Matthew 9:22
Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour. Matthew 15:28
So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20
The above scripture is the type of faith that God wants all of us, His children to have. This type of faith only comes be following God in everything we say and do. When we live a Godly life we will be living lives filled with faith, and our belief in God will be readily seen by others.
Dear God I pray that as we all grow in You, that one day we will be able to say to the mountain move, and it will be removed from our lives. In other words Lord, I seek to have a great amount of faith in You.
