1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Waves
[ The Coming of the Son of Man ] “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; Luke 21:25 NKJV
These are just a few of the things that will happen before Jesus returns to this earth.

“Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat with his head on a cushion. The disciples woke him up, shouting, “Teacher, don’t you care that we’re going to drown?” When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. Then he asked them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
Mark 4:38-40 NLT
This scripture is so relevant today. Jesus is at times silent, but never asleep. He will rebuke those in the world stirring up trouble. He will tell all those causing unrest, silence; let your mouth be still. He just need the believers to be not afraid, of what our eyes see. Faith is what our hearts need, to believe…

James 1:6
“But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.”
Our faith will be challenged and tested. We must hang on to God’s Word for strength; otherwise, we will feel like we are being tossed back and forth by the fury of the seas.

I am a Christian who believes in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I also believe that Jesus will soon return to this earth.
I believe that if the Caterpillar can fly we too can learn to fly. We just have to attach our wings in the right place. As you know the Caterpillar uses the Milk Weed as its host, its source for food. And we too have a "Host" and He also provides us with abundant food. If we used the fuel from this food (Scripture) effectively, we too would be able to fly. Our "Minds" can be freed from all burdens and stress. We can more easily be lifted up when we allow God to be our Host. He would continually feed us. God through His word can teach us how to fly...if only in our thoughts and minds.

Leola, you picked a power piece of Scripture. Here is another verse to add to today’s list. Thanks.

Great scripture bigskybuckeye, and I also love the thought to go along with it.
Thank you. God’s peace.
