1   Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow  mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Children

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Matthew+7:11 NKJV

Since I just finished a week of VBS (Vacation Bible School) I’m still reflecting on the week spent with the children.

The first time doing anything can be difficult, even as an adult, and so it was for some of the children. To make things easier for the kids, the parents made sure they had their favorite snacks and favorite lunches. Some of the guardians even popped in to see how the little ones were doing, or just to take a picture.

In speaking to one of the grandparents, I was told that one of her grandchildren didn’t want to come out on the first day and she had a difficult time getting the little one there. The grandparent showed up unannounced two days later to see how her little one was doing. She didn’t stay very long, but for the time she was there, the kids were so focused on what they were doing that no one even noticed her in the room. All her fears were alleviated.

As much as this grandmother was concerned for her little one, think about how much more God cares for each one of us. He loves us with an everlasting love and His eye is always on us.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.  Psalm+32:8 NKJV

“It gave me great joy, when some believers came and testified about your faithfulness to the truth, telling how you continue to walk in it. But I have no greater joy, than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” 3 John‬ ‭1:3-4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

What great joy, when a child doesn’t just believe; but walks forever faithful. God bless!
