1   Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow  mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Feet

I waited patiently for the Lord;
And He inclined to me,
And heard my cry.
He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.
He has put a new song in my mouth—
Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the Lord. Psalm 40:1-3

God is faithful. He doesn’t give up on us and we should not give up on Him either. David must have been experiencing darkness in his life when he wrote this Psalm because he said God brought him out of a horrible pit. Often times we too experience darkness in our lives, and we too should patiently wait on God, we should cry out to Him while we wait, and in His good time He will also set our feet upon a firm foundation.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105

God’s Word keeps us walking faithfully step by step on His chosen path which lights our way to peace and understanding.

“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the Feet of those, who bring good news!” Romans‬ ‭10:14-15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

How beautiful, how truly precious the feet… of The One? He walked with Grace, carried within heart Mercy. But what He freely chose to give, His life! Hallelujah!

And the God of peace shall bruise satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. –Romans 16:20

Avoid Divisive Persons

17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. 18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord d]”>[d]Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple. 19 For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and e]”>[e]simple concerning evil. 20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. Romans 16-20

  1. This is one of my favorites from the Bible. I was in a very dark place after a 5 year abusive relationship so these verses have always meant so much to me. God pulled me out of that pit of misery and placed my feet on solid ground, which is my life today. Praise God for loving me so much! 💕

    1. What an awesome testimony to the goodness of God Michelle. My prayer is that others would see this testimony and realize and believe that all things are possible with God. Praise the Lord for the deliverance He brought to you.

    1. This is so beautiful Margaret. I’ve added it as a stand alone text and then I added the whole “Avoid Divisive Persons.” The Bible is so filled with wisdom telling us just how we should live today, yet many still claim that it’s out dated. Thank you for this contribution.

      1. Haha outdated. Everything good is based on something that came from the Bible 🙂 All the answers we seek are right there at our fingertips. If we will just open that Good Book, open our eyes and ears, and have faith. Praise God!

      2. Amen—life could be so simple, if we only will learn to fully trust and believe.

    Always a pleasure to add to the triumphant. God bless, my sister!

    1. Thanks bigskybuckeye for your wonderful contribution. I love this text and actually use it a lot. It’s really a simple text to remember, and tells us all we really need to live a more fulfilling life. What a wonderful way to live with God’s Word guiding us to peace and understanding. Blessings.
