Why I Know My Mind Should Never Be In A State Of Emptiness

So this house still shows a bit of charm on the outside even though we can see the disrepair. Its also totally empty on the inside.

Can you picture our minds being like that? If the disrepair is only on the outside there is hope. When we are empty on the inside there can be grave trouble. How do I know this? Because God’s word says so.

Sometimes when we feel that we have too much “Negative Energy” some of us find ways to clear our minds and free our selves of the bad energy. For new Christians coming to Christ this could also be a problem. The old bad ways have been left behind and you’re feeling fresh and clean. However, the Bible tells us that our minds are never just to be swept clean. The below text will explain. It’s about a man who got rid of an unclean spirit–something negative in his life.

2“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ 25 And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order. 26 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.” Luke 11:24-26

When we get rid of the negative we need to be substantially clothed with the Armour of Christ, only He can wage the war that is needed to keep the unclean spirits out. He will fight our battle.

If we are not wearing the battle gear of Christ we cannot stand up to the enemy. The enemy (Satan) will wreak havoc on our minds, he will bring other unclean spirits with him and try to demoralize us, and our minds would be even much worse than before. Temptations and all sorts of evil ways would be at the ready, that’s why we need to be filled with the word of God so that we would never have the need to give in to another temptation.
