It’s very rewarding when we put the interest of others before ourselves. Many may first thing of putting the interest of others in financial terms, but that”s not the only way. This can be done in many different ways. If you can fill a physical need that’s wonderful, but there is much more than the physical, there is also the emotional and the Spiritual. The person could also be in need of a friend, someone to talk to, or there could be a need for Spiritual relief through prayer.

Taking the time to pray for others and what they might be in need of is a simple way of lifting up another and putting their interest first They may never be aware of it, but the Almighty God who sees everything; He will know.

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Philippians 2:3-4

  1. Great post, very helpful for people who feel that they should do something to make others really happy and that their act of friendship or kindness can sometimes be a turning point in someone else’s miserable life. Thanks a lot for sharing such a lovely post.

      1. I’m very slow as I’ve fallen way behind and have lots of catching up to do. If blogging was the only thing I had to do life would be wonderful 😁
